Do you know about Pinterest? I am totally in love with it (or maybe I’m mistaking my addiction for love?). Either way, I might need a 12 step program because I’ve been spending hours on it. Teeny was even pinning with me last night. (I don’t typically pin while the kids are awake because, you know, I like to pay attention to them and stuff, but she was up past her bedtime last night because of thunderstorms and post-bedtime is my prime pinning time. Really, though, we just looked up pins of kittens and Disney princesses.) I had no idea just how many cool crafts and good ideas were out there in the world and I WANT TO DO THEM ALL!!!! It’s a Catch-22, though, because I can’t find out about the crafts/ideas if I don’t do Pinterest, but I can’t actually make the crafts/implement the ideas if I’m always on Pinterest!
Taking a bit of inspiration for the Pinterest Challenge that was hosted, in part, by the folks over at Young House Love, I’ve decided to do a weekly Pinterest feature myself. Each Wednesday I’m going to highlight my top 10 favorite pins from the past week. However, since this is my first time doing this feature, I’ll be highlighting my top 15 favorite pins to date (I had to give myself a few more because narrowing down my list from 227 pins to my 10 favorites was HARD, yo!) and I’ll start the weekly highlights next week. Here’s the list (in random order) with links to their pins on Pinterest and, if known, to the site from which the pin originated:
1) Get Well Soon card: so easy, so cute, and a preschooler could totally help make this.
I think this card originated here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/8296413@N05/2449674157/

How fun is THAT??!!! And all that lush greenery! Breathtaking!
So, those are my favorite pins to date. I’ll be back next week with my 10 favorite pins I either personally pin or repin between now and then. If you’re on Pinterest, please comment because I’d love to follow your boards. If you’re not on Pinterest, might I recommend it? It’s a terrible time suck, but it’s totally captivating.
